Hazelton-Butler Auxiliary

American Legion Auxiliary Unit #53.

The Auxiliary is the heart of the community-service work at Post 53. A spousal and family organization carrying the mission forward in Buckeye since the Post itself was chartered in 1929.

Auxiliary Unit #53 stands beside Post 53. Where the Post is the home for veterans, the Auxiliary is the home for military families, and together we are stronger. Most of the volunteer hours that make our programs run - the ceremonies decorated, the scholarships awarded, the families looked after - come through the Auxiliary.

Auxiliary Unit #53 is a spousal and family organization, open to spouses and eligible family members of American Legion members and wartime veterans. If you have a veteran in your family, you have a place in this Unit.

Auxiliary Unit #53 hosted Post 53's 95-year charter celebration on June 15, 2024. The current Unit officers are being confirmed and will be published on the Post Officers page.
